Kate is responsible for the smooth running of the Awards scheme, with the aim of ensuring all those who participate in the Awards have an excellent experience. Responsible for the recruitment and management of volunteer judges, and external stakeholders her aim is to ensure the Awards are representative of those working in the education sector. Having started her career running the UK arm of an international recruitment company in this and her previous Teaching Awards roles over the last 17 years Kate combines her passion for education with her love of working with people to give them a positive experience.
