Teachers, school leaders and support staff play a vital role in shaping lives and communities, and we’re here to recognise that on national television.
From November 25th to 29th, the Pearson National Teaching Awards will be on BBC’s The One Show where we’ll be revealing this year’s Gold Award winners, ahead of our UK Ceremony which takes place in London on 30th November.
This week-long celebration of teaching showcases the remarkable work happening in early years settings, schools, and colleges across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Each show will include surprise winner reveals announced both live and in the classroom, ensuring every one of our Gold Winners receives a surprise to remember.
Amongst a whole range of celebrities, guests in the past have included Tim Peake, Matthew McConaughey, Sir Cliff Richard, Bill Clinton, Jack Whitehall, Hugh Bonneville, Michael Ball, Bill Clinton, Sarah Millican and many more!
Expect to hear inspiring stories from their students and colleagues about how they have made a positive difference, and the sheer joy for their whole community when they discover they’re a Gold Winner.
