Pupils and staff at Leadenham Church of England Primary Academy and Little Acorns Preschool are celebrating after the village school’s Early Years Team was recognised with a Certificate of Excellence from the National Pearson Teaching Awards.
The Early Years Team was nominated in recognition of the difference they make to the learning experiences of the very youngest children at Leadenham C of E Primary. With some children joining the preschool at age two, the staff have a vital role to play in opening up the wonders of learning for the children and helping them to develop the foundation skills they need for primary school and beyond.
